About Your Trainer

Robyn Miller is the face (and mind) behind Mental Health & Wellbeing Training Solutions.

Her own lived experience in the late 1990s played a pivotal role in reshaping her life, career path and sense of purpose, and these experiences laid the groundwork for her transition to a career in the mental health sector.

Having worked in the mental health sector since 2005 Robyn has a passion for education and training and training development, and has engaged in teaching roles facilitating the Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work qualification. She has provided recovery focused individual support and mentoring to consumers with a living experience and worked extensively in Peer specialist and Peer support roles, and later went onto providing external Peer supervision for mental health peer workers in both Government and non-Government mental health services.

With extensive experience in face-to-face training, online training, and training development Robyn has been a ‘Master’ instructor with Mental Health First Aid Australia since 2014 where she specialises in the delivery of the ‘Older Person 12-hour Mental Health First Aid’ course along with qualifications to deliver a suite of other Mental Health First Aid courses.

She has also been instrumental in developing and delivering specialised mental health training and awareness of ‘Mental Health Problems and the Older Person’ to the broader Aged Care sector in Australia since 2017.
