About Your Trainer

Robyn Miller is the face (and mind) behind Mental Health & Wellbeing Training Solutions. Throughout her career spanning over 20 years; Robyn has honed her expertise through various roles, including facilitating the Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work qualification and delivering recovery-focused individual support and mentoring to individuals with lived experiences.

Robyn has been heavily involved in peer specialist and peer support roles; providing invaluable external peer supervision for mental health peer workers across governmental and non-governmental mental health services. Her passion for mental health peer work was ignited by her own lived experience with mental illness in the late 1990's, which played a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for her career which has led her to where she is today.

With extensive experience in training development, face-to-face and online training; Robyn will soon celebrate her 10-year milestone as a ‘Master’ instructor with Mental Health First Aid Australia, where she specialises in the delivery of the ‘Older Person 12-hour Mental Health First Aid’ course, and holds qualifications to conduct a range of other Mental Health First Aid courses.

In addition to her contributions within Mental Health First Aid, Robyn has played a pivotal role in crafting and delivering specialized mental health training tailored to the aged care sector in Australia since 2017, enhancing awareness and support for mental health issues among older individuals with her ‘Older Minds Matter’ webinars and workshops.
